Aligned Faith!

“Where is your faith? …” Luke 8:25

A few people believe it’s quite humble to cry to God for help consistently. They feel that God is interested in seeing them cry and beg for help at all times; alas, God is against our childish act. Instead, He desires to see us impact changes in our life through a sincere expression of faith. I am not saying that God did not see our tears, but He is more pleased with our faith.

One of the best times to show how our faith is so resourceful and vital was when Jesus sailed in a boat with the disciples. The storm was so heavy that the disciples feared and thought they would perish. But Jesus, who had already installed a healthy faith system, was sleeping peacefully, knowing that his safety is secured by faith.

Hebrews 11:6 says, “And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

I guess at a point, the disciples remembered that Jesus was in the boat, and they went to wake Him up. Jesus rose from His sleeping bed and stopped the raging wind, and then He turned to them and asked them, “Where is your faith?” (Luke 8:25). He made them understand they could have taken care of the circumstance without essentially coming to Him.

Imagine the things you’ve failed to achieve in the past; do you know they could have been possible if you have strong faith in God? Sometimes, we mutter and say we have faith, whereas faith is not faith until every part of us aligns with our belief in God. Do not weep any more; build and use your faith because your faith is no match with your problems. Luke 1:37 says, “For nothing will be impossible with God.”

Prayer:
Lord, strengthen my spirit that I may have a strong faith in you in Jesus’ name.
