Burning for Christ!

“The zeal for Your house has eaten me up, And the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me.” Psalm 69:9

The inbuilt abilities and configuration of individual humans created by God determine how and what everyone will crave. Our passion reveals the fact that our God is passionate. He passionately loves what He loves and despises what He doesn’t want. The deeper your relationship with Him, the more He whets your appetite for something He cares about so that you can be His envoy on that particular subject.

Of course, our passion differs based on our background, upbringing, relationship, geographical location, and our value of God. Irrespective of our humanistic desires, God gives us passion. In the long run, you will always feel compelled to speak up about it and do what you can do to make a difference for such a subject.

Psalm 119:139 says, “My zeal has consumed me because my foes forget Your words.”

Naturally, you cannot keep yourself from talking about what you care most about. That’s the reason why some people naturally seem overzealous over certain things than others. Are you passionate about the things of God? There are men across the world who are apparently and earnestly passionate about God’s business. What’s your passion? What are you willing to do for God this year?

What have you grown to see yourself comfortably doing with or without encouragement or support? God wants to use your passion. He wants you to use it to advance His kingdom and bring people into the knowledge of His person. Anything godly you love doing can always be used to promote this kingdom of light. Give God a ride on your passion. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

2. Ask God for help and let him guide you through every stage of life.
