Busybodies Have Negative Intention.

Busybodies Have Negative Intention.

“Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval. ” Romans 14:4

The busybodies are always busy, and they don’t know what to do with themselves except broadcasting other people interest and opinions. I returned after a long time that I had left home for training in another part of the country. After I highlighted from the main vehicle that conveyed us from the other region, I boarded another vehicle to cover the remaining distance to the house.

Meanwhile, two ladies had been in the vehicle before my boarding. I sat beside them, so I could hear their loud talks, and I could decipher that their whole gist was about another person they knew; condemning and judging the person. They condemned this person greatly that one of them had to conclude that she definitely won’t make it to the kingdom of God with her attitude.

Obviously, I knew what they were talking about; judging others. This is not what we have been called to do as Children of God. Even when we see others that are sinners or they are yet to be saved, our responsibility is to see how best God can use a man and not how the world has been using them. Romans 15:7 says, “accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, to bring glory to God.”

C. S. Lewis said, “It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies.” Judging others doesn’t have much impact on the person you are judging, why not have their names in prayer and share the word of God with them. The fact is, our judgment is not valid upon their lives because it is what God says that matters. He is the only authorized judge (2 Timothy 4:8). Even when it is necessary for us to judge (1 Cor 5:11-13), do not judge to condemn others, judge with the mind of Christ in you (Phil 2:5).

Prayer:
1. Lord, I thank you for your mercy and my love for me.
2. Lord, help me to see people better and not to judge them in the mighty name of Jesus
3. Lord gives me the wisdom to deal with people around me in Jesus name.

May the Lord give you the spirit to be able to discern between good and evil. May the Lord make you aware of your own sin, which is the root of all evil. God’s grace is sufficient. Be blessed.
