Cage Mind!

Caged Minds!

“And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out, and the wineskins will be ruined.” Luke 5:37

Going from one level to a higher level is an amazing experience. The big dreams, the greener pastures, the great benefits of the next level, but many do not have the inner capacity. So many times, people set their limitations in their hearts, probably because the people around them have not passed that level before, so they feel it might not be possible.

3 John 2 says, “beloved, I wish above all things that thou may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospered.” Prosperity and good health are directly proportional to the state of mind. It is impossible to build generational wealth with a poor or poverty mentality because it is impossible to see beyond the mindset. At the same time, it is impossible to create wealth without having a strong sense of self-worth.

Luke 6:45 says, “The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”

Proverbs 23:7 sums it up, ‘for as you think in your heart, so, you are.’ Every new level requires a new version of the mind. You have to widen your thinking, increase your capacity to absorb new ideas, and be ready to let go of a limiting mindset. “But the new wine must be put into new bottles, and both are preserved.” Luke 5:38. Every new zeal requires a new set of mindsets to keep going.

The only way to sustain the new levels that God has placed you are for you to renew your mind and see-through God’s eyes. View your future from his perspective because He has promised to give us whatsoever, we desire with the condition that “as far as your eyes can see.” Do not let your caged mind limit you from receiving the greatness that God has placed in you. Romans 12:2 says, “do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by renewing your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Prayer:
1. Lord, give me grace for the renewal of the mind.
2. Proverbs 16:3; Oh Lord, I commit my work, family, and ministry into your hand, come and establish everything in Jesus’ name.
