Don’t Cry: There is Hope!

Do Not Cry; There is Hope

Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” John 11:23.

Death is one of the inevitable things that happen to a human on the surface of the earth. Before death, some things might turn from very good to very worse. Our faith in this time matters as that is what is being tested. Daily, we are faced with challenges that manifest our weaknesses in different areas. It is more damaging when we don’t really have a way out, and we were left helpless. This manifest hopelessness, and when we don’t know who to turn to, the matter becomes much worse. Helper of destiny will not be far away in Jesus name. Amen

As a believer, who has a relationship with the Father, like Lazarus’s sisters (Mary and Martha) who had a relationship with Jesus, we can easily invite Jesus into our case and be assured that He will come and work His wonders through faith, hope, and prayer.

Matthew Henry said, “When God, by his grace and providence, is coming towards us in ways of mercy and comfort, we should, like Martha, go forth by faith, hope, and prayer, to meet him.” Our faith has a drawing effect on God, as it draws Him to respond to our very dear need. The time may look delayed, the situation may keep going worse, but we should hold on to Jesus as He has promised to always show up. “Everything is subject to God’s timing, and everything depends on it” Sunday Adelaja.

God, faithfulness is a shield and wall, even when we are faithless, He remains faithful. He never lies, and we are persuaded that His words to us are ever true and ever sure. The faithfulness of God births in us a great measure of faith that can suffice us in any situation. Like Jesus told Mary, let me tell you today, your situation will get better, that sickness will fade away, the darkness over your marriage, your children, your business, career, and ministry is almost over and it shall come to an end in Jesus name.

Your time of celebration is very near. Keep holding on, keep your faith. Lord, I thank you. “Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.” Psalm 119:90.

Prayer
1. Give thanks and pray over today’s Word as lead by the spirit now.
2. I hold on to your word O God, the faithful one.
3. Isaiah 33:10, “Now will I arise, says the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.” Ask God to arise on your needs now and let him be exalted in your life.
