Fear Fails!

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

First, I want you to sit back and carefully ponder. Can you recall vital ‘fails’? I mean failures you have had in the times past. What can you categorically identify the ‘fails’ to? How many percentages did fear contribute to those failures?

Fear can be described as the seed sown to reap failure (fails). When fear is sown, great is the harvest of failures. No major or significant life can be lived in an atmosphere and spirit of fear. It is indisputable that life offers many uncertainties. Uncertainty of life itself due to a daily life crisis, the future’s fate, the uncertainty of the economy, etc. But should I remind you that these uncertainties seemingly appear to be minute, but they are the rain of discouragement, indecisiveness, insecurity, reluctance, laziness, and procrastination that falls on the seed of fear that has been sown?

Psalm 27:1 says, “The LORD is my light and my salvation– whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life– of whom shall I be afraid?”

When you embark on a very tending successful, and profitable endeavor, the seed of fear that you have sown rapidly grows, and your harvest is a failure. However, the new life of Christ Jesus given to us was not accompanied by the spirit of fear. Rather, that which has been given to us is the spirit of power, and love, and a sound mind.

Described, the spirit of power against fear and all it brings, the spirit of love against fear and failure; for love never fails, and spirit of sound mind that equip your mind with the needed level of transformation and knowledge; prevailing against fear, its arsenals, and all its forces. Why not embrace the spirit that has been given to you? Fear fails; the spirit of fear makes you fail. Joshua 1:9 says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Prayer:
1. Lord God, I accept the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind you have given me, and I live by your spirit. Amen
2. I hope in you, Oh Lord, therefore grant me an unshakable faith in your word in Jesus’s name.
