Fortitude and Patience!

Fortitude and Patience!

“Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Are you weary and hopeless? Are you tired of the endless struggle? Don’t let your heart be troubled, for God’s grace is sufficient and unfailing. Don’t cry, and don’t allow your head to fall into despair because tears won’t let you see the stars and goodness ahead of you. Don’t give up yet; focus on Jesus, the author, and finisher of your faith. I know you are worried because your beginning looks rough, and there is no hope along the way. However, the Bible says in Eccl 7:8, “The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.”

I speak this word into your situation that the end of your matter shall be better, brighter, and Stronger. One of the Scottish proverbs says, “He that weel bides, weel betides.” This means he that endure shall arise and shine. I know for you that wait upon God. He will bring you out of your troubles and make you shine. Don’t dream of failing in life. Instead, think about what you can accomplish with God’s grace in your life. 2 Corinthians 4:16 says, “Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, yet our inner self is being renewed day by day.”

Ephesians 4:27 says, “Don’t give the devil an opportunity.”

Shut your door against that devil; he is a liar. Remember, if you give the devil a sinful wish or thoughts in your business, he will become a shareholder. If you give him a room or space in your house, he will become the house owner. And if you dare sinfully act or perform what he commanded you, he will become the CEO and possess it all. So apostle Paul was not joking when he said don’t give room to the devil because he knew his tricks.

There was this saying that says, “If you play with fire, you will get burned.” So likewise, do not give room to the devil and his mother-in-law in your home. They are both evil spirits who want to take over the world and control everything around you. Therefore, no room for destiny killers and joy jeopardizers. Resist him at all times, but before resisting, James 4:7 says, “Surrender to God! Resist the devil, and he will run from you.”

Prayer:
1. Jesus Christ, thank you for being my Lord and savior.
2. I shut down every door of SIN the devil used to enter my life now in Jesus’ name.
3. Psalm 103:5: Oh Lord, satisfies me with good things, and renew my mind daily in Jesus name.
