Glory in Tribulation!

Glory in Tribulation!

“Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.” Romans 5:3-5

God uses anything it takes to build us. He will use whatever it takes to mold us into the form He intends for us. Every problem is a character-building opportunity, and the more difficult it is, the greater the potential for building spiritual muscle and moral strength. While people generally focus on their pains, God focuses on the gain that comes afterward.

God isn’t bothered to press us to any length. What happens outwardly in your life is not as important as what happens inside you. Circumstances are temporary, but your character will last forever. The common truth is, when trials have refined you, people will see Jesus’ reflection in you. Trials produce giants. If you can endure the tests, then God can use you to raise a generation.

Your trial is a testimonial. Every trial is not just a moment of deliberate suffering; trials are meant to impact and pass a message into your life. It might look like an ordeal, but God doesn’t joke with it. He will turn every mess to a life-changing message. My God will turn every obstacle into a blessing. He will make you stronger and confident than ever before because that trial is a ladder to the next level of success. Be calm.

Since God intends to make you like Jesus, He will take you through the same experiences Jesus went through. That includes loneliness, temptation, stress, criticism, rejection, and many other trials. If Jesus then overcomes, there’s an assurance that you can overcome too. James 1:12 says, “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”

Prayer:
1. Thank you, Almighty God, for your mercy and grace at this time.
2. Lord, let my current circumstances produce the best results in me in Jesus’ name.
3. Psalm 119:116 “Sustain me as you promised, that I may live; let me not be ashamed of my hope.”
