Growing in All Things in Christ!

Growing in All Things in Christ!

“When we speak the truth in love, we will in all things, grow up into Christ Himself, who is the head.” Ephesians 4:15

Do you know that God needs you to grow up? Over time, I’ve seen people behave beyond the level I ever expected of them. In contrast, some people are still having difficulty growing up. They are not mature enough to handle their own emotions and feelings, so they become a little more vulnerable to others. However, God’s desire for us is to grow and learn to become mature enough to handle the challenges of life.

That is God’s desire for us; He needs us to grow up. The word “growth” and “God’s will” are both in a similar sentence. It is God’s will that you grow up. We need to grow up to know God’s will through the knowledge in His word so that we can live by faith. Growing in every aspect of life is very rewarding and fulfilling. But sometimes we get caught up in our desires and forget to see God’s plan through Christ.

There is no other standard that humans can set for themselves to grow rather than looking at Christ, who is our head. It is not sufficient for a man to have the salvation experience and be satisfied; you need to press in for more. We all deserve to grow, and it is just so imperative for us. Two things are expected; it is either you grow or shrink, stagnation merely is unrealistic.

We have the all-knowing God, and he needs a mature son to relate with. Sometimes when I remember things I’ve done before knowing Christ, I feel so sad and wished certain things could be reversed. But now, I can’t overemphasis how the spirit of God has brought vast knowledge and ways of doing things in their best way to my consciousness and having a sound result afterward. It is indeed fabulous to grow in God’s knowledge.

Ephesians 4:13 says, “Until we all reach unity in the faith and the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness.”

Prayer:
1. Isaiah 55:11; Thank you, LORD, for your word that never fails to produce the expected results for me.
2. Lord, help me to grow in you. Reduce ‘me’ so that you can increase in me.
