How Obedience Leads to Blessings? Part Three

How Obedience Leads to Blessings! Part Three.

“My son, keep your father’s commandment and forsake not your mother’s teaching.” Proverbs 6:20

A farmer’s blessings depend on his obedience to the laws of nature. When a farmer follows the laws of nature, he is rewarded with a bountiful harvest. However, when a farmer disobeys the laws of nature, he is punished with a poor harvest. The farmer’s blessings depend on his obedience to the laws of nature—the law of sowing and reaping. Likewise, a believer’s obedience is one of the most important aspects of their lives. It is through obedience that they come into a closer relationship with God. Obedience is the key to a blessed life.

In the Bible, there are many examples of obedience being rewarded. For example, when Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son, Isaac, God provided a ram to be sacrificed instead. When Moses followed God’s commands to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, God provided manna and water in the desert. And when David obeyed God’s instruction as he led the Israelites, God provided victory in battle. In each of these examples, the people were obedient to God’s commands and were blessed. In addition, their obedience brought them closer to God and resulted in Him intervening on their behalf.

Romans 13:1 says, “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and God has instituted those that exist.”

Obedience is also important in our daily lives. When we obey our parents, teachers, and other authority figures, we set an example for others. We are also obeying the laws that have been put in place to keep us safe. Obedience is also important in our spiritual lives. When we obey God’s commands, we are shown that we trust Him. We are also doing what is best for us. Obedience is a key factor in any Christian’s life and helps us enjoy abundance and prosperity.

As Sammis, John H wrote, said, “Trust and obey, for there’s no other way, to be happy in Jesus, But to trust and obey.” So likewise, brethren, be rest assured of God’s blessings as long as you trust and obey. Let’s strive to obey Him daily, and trust Him to bless us abundantly! When we are obedient, we come into a closer relationship with God. This principle is seen in the life of Isaac, whom God blessed because he was obedient to Him. We too will be blessed by God if we are obedient to Him. Amen. Psalm 111:10 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!” Amen.

Let us pray:
1. Psalm 25:5; Guide me in your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for You all day long.
2. Ancient of Days, Stretch out your power and lift me out of the hellish pit of unfaithfulness, lack of trust, and disobedience today. in Jesus’ name. Amen.
