Miracles of Faith in Action!

Miracles of Faith in Action! Part Two

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1

The power of faith is often seen as a force for good in the world, enabling people to go beyond themselves and achieve the impossible. Miracles of faith in action represent those moments when belief seems to triumph over adversity and a seemingly insurmountable difficulty is overcome. The stories of these miracles are inspiring, offering hope to all who feel they cannot cope with their challenges. From small acts of kindness to powerful healing, divine intervention has been witnessed for thousands of years. The impossible can be made possible through faith, and hope can be restored to individuals and communities.

I read a story of a young lady Evangelist who strongly believed faith could move mountains. As she stood in front of the large crowd ministering, the night was almost over; the Evangelist had reached her climax of giving a rousing speech about faith and healing. She looked into the eager eyes of four people confined to wheelchairs before her. Then, with faith and determination burning in her eyes and resounding from her voice, she spoke, “Rise and walk!” There was a pulse in the air; everyone could feel it as all present held their breath, anticipating what would happen next. Then suddenly one person started to move… then another…and yet another!

Romans 1:17 says, “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

Three out of the four rose from their chairs with a newfound sense of strength and determination. Then, to the crowd’s disbelief, three people stood up from their wheelchairs. The audience was awestruck – had they just witnessed a miracle? Some cried out, “Hallelujah! The first three walked away with healing miracles with their name on them after only a few steps, but the fourth man remained seated despite everyone’s encouragement and applause. He said, “I can’t walk,” yet the lady evangelist encouraged him to take a leap of faith; instead, he continued to narrate stories about his problem, and the Evangelist walked away. The fourth man’s story was one that many can relate to:

Have you ever felt held back by something that relates to the story? Perhaps a fear or an obstacle keeps you from achieving your true potential and experiencing the miracles of faith. Well, it’s time to get up, step forward and set yourself free! It can be easy to get stuck in our heads, overwhelmed with negative thoughts and emotions. But when we act on faith through action, amazing things start to happen. We must learn to take inspired action for us to move forward. When we do this with courage-filled hearts, we will find that what was once holding us back is no longer present. Only taking action allows us to experience the power of faith. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

Prayer:
1. Proverbs 12:25: I refused to be weight down by fear: Oh Lord, increase my faith.
2. May the Lord silence every voice of condemnation raised against you in the past, now, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
