Not with Uncertainty!

Not with Uncertainty!

“Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air” 1 Corinthians 9:26

We call ourselves Christians; we boast of the new life in Christ, we observe our personal and collective prayer and fasting. All this boasting and affirmation in Christ is good, but despite all this, to what extent can one be sure that God is still faithful? How certain we are that everything we are doing is the right thing to do and not just a waste of time?

Christianity is a journey of consciousness. What you know is the level of revelation to which you can walk in, and what you don’t know, you can’t either walk in it or benefit from it. Remember, God has provided everything needed that will allow us to live life as he intended. But it is the level of knowledge and understanding that will enable us to know that God has provided everything for us.

2 Peter 1:3 says, “God’s divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his glory and excellence.”

In today’s bible verse, Apostle Paul was convinced that he was doing the right thing. His decision to serve God and be a practical instrument of use is the only assured way of getting close to the father. He is convinced that the crown he will receive is an imperishable crown of life till eternity in the blossom of the father. He foreknew that his devotion and work of service are not useless, but he can only survive and come out strong by the Grace of God.

Until you are certain who you are in Christ Jesus before you start knowing what is ahead of you. And when you know this, then there will be no need for fear or worry. Therefore, I encourage you to be intentional about your worship and devotion to God. Be responsive to the Grace of God (His Ability) within you and stop struggling to gain eternal life. Don’t doubt it, be certain about it. And may the good Lord pour his spirit of faith upon you; may “Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord (2 Peter 1:2). Amen

Prayer :
Thank you, Lord, for the race to which you have called me, give me the Grace not as one who beat the air but as one who hits the mark in Jesus’ name. Amen
