Open Doors

“I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.” Revelation 3:8

Every day, we walk through different kinds of doors, either big or small size. Just today alone, it is possible that you may have to pass through about four or five different doors. When you woke up, you could have walked through your bedroom or bathroom door. You will walk through a door when going to work or the office, and definitely, you will have to walk through a door before you enter the office.

Doors are to use to get into or come out of a place. The absence of a door means “no entrance,” “no exit,” or “open world”; a person could be confined to a particular place with a door. Being limited to a specific location speaks of stagnation. It is the utmost desire of everyone to grow and prosper in every aspect of their lives. When there are no open doors, a person can be held down to a level or spot. And at times, the door can be opened, but the surrounding people will make it difficult for people to move forward (1 Corinthians 16:9). But I pray that the door of opportunities will not be closed against you and your family in Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Corinthians 16:9 says, “For a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”

When we speak of open doors, we are talking about movement from one place to another. It is an avenue to access blessings, opportunities, and places. According to our reference for today, our Lord Jesus Christ was described as the one who opens and closes doors without interruption. He is our advocate, and He is capable of opening certain doors in our life. May the Lord close every door that needs to be locked in your life, and He shall cause all doors you need to be fulfilled in life to be open unto you.

There are cogent and important keys to open doors that must be held to make a great impact in life. The same way most doors have a key that opens and closes it; also, there are keys to open certain doors in the spiritual realm. Through Christ, we have been given keys to the kingdom of heaven that we can open and close doors as we wish, but we must use the right key to get the expected results. So 2 Corinthians 5:7 says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Prayer:
Dear Lord, open unto me every door needed for my fulfillment in life and close every door working contrary to my destiny in Jesus’ name.
