Rejoice in the Lord!

Rejoice in the Lord.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will repeat it: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4

Welcome to August 2019, the eight months have been tagged as the month of new things. However, our focus today says, Rejoice in the Lord, not in men. You can rejoice with men and rejoice in God. We encourage you to celebrate as you start this new month, a new day of your life that carries a new covenant. If you have a desire to be joyful, then rejoice in the Lord and hope for the good news that is coming your way this month.

Don’t worry about what others think or say about you. Just enjoy the joy of being alive and enjoying life without any fear or anxiety. Psalm 146:2 says, “While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God as long as I exist.” I am sure if it’s your delight to praise God while you live, you will surely praise God to all eternity in Jesus name. Amen

Sincere Christian attitude will always rejoice, and still give thanks to the Lord, even in pain or gain; poor or rich; having nothing or possessing everything. Rejoice in the Lord. Everything that happened is the result of awe God’s love for you. He loves you so much that He is willing to do anything just because of you in Christ.

Alan Cohen once said, “Gratitude, like faith, is a muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it grows, and the more power you have to use it on your behalf. If you do not practice gratefulness, its benefaction will go unnoticed, and your capacity to draw on its gifts will be diminished. To be grateful is to find blessings in everything. This is the most powerful attitude to adopt, for there are blessings in everything.”

The greatest gift we can give ourselves is to be thankful for what we have.

I encourage you to be thankful, give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name; make known his deeds among your families, friends, and neighbors. Always hope in the Lord your God, not in your man or woman, friends, or families. Be Thankful. Be grateful for all that you have.1Chronicle 16:34 says, “Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving-kindness, endures forever.”

We do not have everything, but we believe it is a beautiful life, It means we are content with what we have, and that is good enough for us to praise God for our lives. When we are happy, joyful, and satisfied with what God has given us. A grateful heart will find it easy to rejoice. The cheerful heart will find joy and contentment. “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
