Righteousness Conscious! 2

“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Justification through faith, justification through love, or salvation by faith in Christ’s name in your life didn’t just happen if God didn’t make Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin so that in him we might become the righteousness of His. What we become today is what God orchestrated for a purpose to happen.

It’s not about how much money you have or how righteous you are, but rather how much you are willing to show mercy to others and give them a chance at redemption. We can do this by showing compassion towards those who are less fortunate than us without calling them stupid or lazy. This is where we can start to see God as the redeemer of our souls because His mercy has perfect timing.

Romans 4:25 says, “Jesus Christ was delivered over to death for our trespasses and was raised to life for our justification.”

According to the willingness and mercy of God, Christ saved us. Are you willing to show mercy to others without calling them names? Or think you are better than everyone because you pray, pay your tithe and go to church? Brother and sister, don’t let self-righteousness and holier-than-thou attitudes become hindrances in your relationship with God.

Mercy is the tunes that bring peace to a broken heart. When you are broken, Christ came to restore you without looking at your faults. He has shown us mercy and grace through faith and love that we cannot see ourselves as sinners. Jesus turns you around and gives you hope. Therefore, help someone without judging them for their sins.1 John 3:5 says, “But you know that Christ appeared to take away sins, and in Him, there is no sin.”

Prayer:
1. Dear Lord, I pray that you give me the strength to help without judging others.
2. Holy Spirit, guide and lead me in your righteousness path in Jesus’ name. Amen
