“They go from strength to strength until each appears before God in Zion.” Psalm 84:7

Grace is the antidote to stress. I am sure you have enjoyed this wonderful gift of God’s grace this year and in the past, and it is time to give thanks to the Lord for all that He has done for you. We ought to be grateful for his grace and favor in our lives because there is still more to enjoy in the coming year 2022 and beyond. Through God’s grace, we have the opportunity to go from the darkness into the light, from sinners to saints, from the dead to the living, and from nothing to abundance. And the one we are hoping God to take care of, He said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Enjoying God’s grace is a great privilege and blessing. And those who have the opportunity and the ability to experience this grace never take it for granted. For example, Franklin Williams expresses God’s grace through his hymn titled Grace and Mercy, saying;

“Your grace and mercy brought me through!
I’m living this moment because of You
I want to thank you and praise you, too
your grace and mercy brought me through”

Another preacher and hymn writer named John Newton wrote “Amazing Grace” to express his personal experience from God’s grace. Saying:

“Amazing grace! (How sweet the sound)
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.”

Brethren, what is your amazing grace story to tell? You may not achieve what you plan to do in 2021, but you still have an incredible opportunity to accomplish it. Remember, “the living has hope because a living dog is better than a dead lion.” And it is through grace that God works an effective change in our hearts and lives to do more in ways we never thought possible. So I pray, may the Lord, fill your heart with joy and peace in Jesus’ name.

In benediction’s blessing in 2 Corinthians 13:14, Paul said: “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” Amen. I also pray that you will be blessed with a life filled with love and peace. May the grace of God be with you wherever you go and radiate through you to bless others. The grace of God will see you through all the journey of life ahead of you in Jesus’ name. Amen. I am thankful for the grace of God. John 1:16 says, “And from Christ’s fullness, we have all received, grace upon grace.”

Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your mercy and favor in Jesus’ name. Amen!
