Standing Out in a Sea of Conformity! Part Six

God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM have sent me to you.” Exodus 3:14

It can be hard to feel like you matter when standing out in a sea of conformity. You may feel invisible in a world that values sameness over individuality. But remember, you are never alone. God never changes! Remember, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, with whom there is no change or shifting shadow.” James 1:17. When you find your identity in Him, you will discover that you matter more than you imagined. You are unique and special, created in His image for a purpose. Don’t be afraid to be different; stand up for what you believe in and shine your light into the darkness!

The Bible said that despite the pressure of life around Jesus, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).” Despite the pressure around Daniel, he refused to give up on his faith. He didn’t give up on himself. Instead, he continued to do what was right. Even though everyone else was against him, he kept going, and they thought he was crazy. But in the end, everyone who was against him begins to bow down to him. So now I declare in the Holy Ghost, any suitable place you have been rejected before, they will begin to honor you again in Jesus’ name.

Ephesians 6:16 says, “In all circumstances, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.”

I understand that the pressure of life changes people because no matter what challenges you face in life, you are certainly not the same person you were before you encountered them. Along with changing your perspective on problems, you will also see that you are a different emotional and spiritual being. This doesn’t mean to change who you are in God and what you believe as integrity or truth with self-respect. Remember, we all know that “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). As you grow in this understanding, you will find new ways to approach old problems with fresh insight and potential solutions.

Therefore, whatever you are going through, try as much as possible to cloth yourself with integrity, faithfulness, and wisdom because through them, you will lift your face without shame; you will stand firm and unafraid. God will not let you down because he knows your faithfulness and worthiness in the kingdom. Proverbs 10:6-7 says, “Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. The memory of the righteous is a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot.” So may your head be a blessing in Jesus’ name.

Prayer:
1. Thank God for all he has done for you to make you better than before.
2. Declare that anything standing against the benefits of redemption in your life, may the blood of Jesus flush them out. Remember, Mercy is yours; therefore, claim it.
3. I pray that God will answer your prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.
