The Genuine Sacrifice!

The Genuine Sacrifice!

“God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Love is a choice, and it’s not something that can be forced. It’s a choice that we make every day. It’s not something you can take back and throw away from everyday activity. I’m sure you’ve heard this before too, but it’s so important to listen to it again. If you don’t love yourself, then how will anyone else love you? How do you expect people to treat you with respect when you’re not even there for yourself?

I do understand that some people grow up in doubt about what love means. Because of the relationship with others, it seems like God’s love cannot bring the promises he made for us. Some relationships are filled with hatred, loss, and corruption; even Some good churches even mislead us and make us think that we will enjoy God’s love if we do this. I believe that love is an essential thing to embrace and live by despite the experience of the past because it gives a person a sense of belonging.

John 13:34 says, “A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”

John 3:16 said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God showed His greatest love when He chooses his Son to die on the cross for us. Love never stops and is freely given to all. It is a gift from God. The love of God never stops doing what it does best. It is a constant reminder that we are all loved by God, and he loves us unconditionally. The love of God is always present in our hearts. It should present in our actions and words.

We are called to love others with our whole hearts and mind because we all deserve it in this life. It doesn’t mean you should give up your own life for others, but instead, you should be willing to lead people to Christ. We are called to love others as ourselves, just as we are called to live by faith and not by works or money or power. 1 John 3:16 says, “By this, we know love because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”

Prayer:
1. In the mighty name Jesus Christ, let my heart be filled with love and mercy.
2. Oh Lord, help me walk in your love with all my heart in Jesus’ name. Amen.
