The Power of Your Mind! 2

The Power of Your Mind! 2

“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” Proverbs 4:23

How well do you nourish your mind? Have you discovered how to kindle the power of your mind? The power of the mind cannot be underestimated because the mind defines you, makes you, and molds you. Your mind needs to be well-nourished with the right ingredients for you to enjoy its incredible power. Therefore, don’t starve and waste your mind in a box.

Great power lies in the mind of an individual and can be seen in the form of creativity, discernment, perception, critical thinking and reasoning, supernatural knowing, and many more. With your mind, you can conceive the biggest dream you can ever imagine, attain the most significant height and position you desire, and change the world around you. The journey of your life usually starts from your mind, and how far you will go depends on how well you nourished and made good use of your mind.

However, It is essential to understand that your mind is not a muscle that needs to be exercised. And it is not a door that needs to be lock and unlock every time you want to access it or open it. Your mind is an extension of yourself, and you are responsible for its growth and development. That is why I love the idea of Plutarch, a Greek, middle Platonist philosopher that said, “The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled.”

A mind is a powerful tool that can be used to achieve anything you desire, but how you kindle and engage it, depends on you (what you read, listen, or associate with). There are books and websites out there that promise you ‘the secret of how to unlocking the power of your mind,’ but full of confusion. However, there is one book I know that will kindle your mind, rebrand your image and give you answers to all your problem; that book is called the BIBLE, Sanctioned by God, Authored by Jesus, and unction by the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 23:19 says, “Listen, my child, and be wise, and guide your heart on the right course.”

Prayer:
1. Thank you, Jesus, for all the wonderful things in my life.
2. Take time to pray earnestly, ask God to guard your heart against any evil, and ask God to help you find a way out of any difficult situation you may have found yourself.
3. Mark 7:21-23: Every evil mind projecting its desire against your destiny shall not prosper and will not thrive in Jesus’ name.
