Thy Mercy, O Lord!

Thy Mercy, O Lord!

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

The mercy and steadfast love of God always surpasses our understanding. Everything that happens every day, every hour, and every minute always amazes me that God is merciful, faithful, and loving. He has shown us how to enjoy his abundant mercy and blot out our transgression. Every morning, He renews that mercy even when you are not aware of it. Do you believe in God’s mercy? If so, then you should not allow the Devil to talk you out of great expectation of God’s mercy.

God is always in control of your life; therefore, don’t allow fear of the unknown to take advantage of your life and make you feel unworthy. Though you might have transgressed in one way or the other, our father in heaven already made available how to blot out your transgression to be saved from sin through Christ. But it would be best if you came to the throne of grace for mercy as David did when imprisoned in his sin in 2nd Samuel 11.

Lamentations- 3:22-23 says, “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed because his compassion fails not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness!”

Mercy is not only for the sinner’s sake but also for those who are in need. Therefore, I don’t know what condition you are facing right now, but I can tell you this: God is always there to help you. If what you are going through did not consume you yesterday, last week, or last month or even a few moments ago, then the mercy of God is available for your case now and forever. Therefore, don’t believe the lies of the Devil. God will never leave you nor forsake you. Therefore, pray for the mercy of God.

Oh, Lord! Of mercy, I am so grateful for all the blessings you have given me in Christ Jesus. I know you will continue to bless me with more grace and wisdom than ever before. I know you will continue to bless me with more love and mercy than ever before. My heart is filled with gratitude for all the blessings you have given me. Oh, Lord! Please show me your mercy now and forever. Psalm 145:9 says, “The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.”

Prayer:
1. Pray that God grant you the strength you need to overcome any obstacle in your path.
2. Ask God for mercy concerning that which you are struggling with; He will do it for you.
