Undivided Commitment! 2

“Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked.” 1 John 2:6

The passion for living virtuous lives, for fighting the good fight of faith, for living with integrity, for being faithful and obedient to God’s will should be a primary focus in every Christian life. It is not enough to say, ‘ I am going to do this and that without having an unwavering commitment to Christ, which means being faithful and willing to follow His lead.

Whatever is your calling and purpose in life, be willing to go out of your comfort zone, and do what it takes to fulfill that calling. Do not settle for mediocrity or complacency; neither allow anyone to stop you from doing what God has called you to do. When Apostle Paul was going to Jerusalem to preach the gospel, people persuaded Him not to go. But he didn’t let them stop him because they were afraid of what would happen if he went. Instead, he replied, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound but even to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” Acts 21:13.

Brethren, are you faithful and committed to that calling? Are you doing what is required of you in that marriage, job, career, and ministry as a whole? Or is it something else entirely? If you are committed to your calling, then you must be willing and able to do what is necessary to fulfill the requirement and make sure that God’s will is fulfilled. It is not easy, but it can be done! It is possible to do this by committing yourself the time and effort needed to beautify generation after generation.

Jesus Christ did the same thing for us when He came from heaven to earth to die on the Cross for our sins. The passion, Cross, blood, death, and resurrection are through undivided commitment Jesus Christ used to bring us salvation and abundant life. The sacrifice he made gives us a way of living a life that is filled with a deep connection with God. That is why God wants us to believe in him and follow his lead. John 6:40 says, “For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.”

Prayer:
1. Thank you, father, for your steadfast love and faithfulness.
2. Lord, grant me the strength to carry out your will with undivided commitment.
3. Isaiah 58:6- as you break free to fulfill destiny. Therefore, I nullify and destroy whatever is programmed against you, your marriage, career, and ministry by thunder in the name of Jesus
