Unleash Your Creativity! Part two

“I was afraid and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.” Matthew 25:25

Some people have the talent potential for great things, but they don’t know how to get started. While some know how to get started but are not pleased with their talents and hide them. But let me remind you that whether it’s playing an instrument, writing, talking, dancing, reading, painting, or cooking, you have to find ways to engage your talents and share them with the world. Opportunities abound for people who never hide their talent but are bold with creativity and have fun.

Let your creativity flourish and see where it takes you! The wise men say, ‘if you don’t know how to use your talents, then it’s not worth wasting or burying them. We should always remember that God has given everyone gifts, and we should never waste them. Though some people are more gifted than others, I think that is true. However, that does not make yours useless or worthless.

Proverbs 12:11 says, “He who works his land will have plenty of food, but whoever chases fantasies lacks judgment.”

It is important never to hide your talent. You never know when it might be needed, and you don’t want to regret not using your gift later in life. So go out and show the world what you can do! Though the parable of talents in Matthew 25 is very significant, it is disturbing for those who do not understand how talent works. However, the passage emphasizes their abilities. Everyone on earth has at least one or more talents inside them. The only thing that separates successful and unsuccessful people from each other is the ability to recognize and appreciate their talents and use them to their advantage.

Do not use another person’s measure of success as your criteria. You have got to stand up and take to your position so that you can harness that hidden potential gifted to you by God. The foolish servant must have worked together with other servants with contempt, and this must have shadowed his thinking to the extent that he buried and neglected his talents under the ground. Oh! What a pity. I refused to be a foolish servant who hid their talent. Amen. “Those who work their land will have plenty of food, but whoever chases fantasies will be filled with poverty.” Proverbs 28:19.

Prayer:

  1. I am grateful for all the blessings in my life.
  2. Oh Lord, give me the strength to overcome any obstacle around my talent.
  3. God grant me the courage to pursue my dreams in Jesus’ name. Amen.
