Winning in life’s course! 2

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

Are you able to identify anything from previous devotion? Because from previous devotion, we have seen the need to identify the problem and acknowledge that we have no strength of our own. Instead, we must let go of fear and trust God. As we continue in this life-winning course, we will see how we can become victorious.

Let us look into the life of Jehoshaphat and see how he overcome the crisis that confronted him and Judah as a whole. The Bible said,

“It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle. Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, there comes a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they are in Hazazon-Tamar, which is Engedi” (2 Chr. 20:1-2).

Have you received such a message before? I don’t think so! And if you do, what will be your reaction when you hear it? The Bible said Jehoshaphat was feared initially, but he did not let fear stop him from seeking the face of the Lord for help and proclaimed fasting throughout the land of Judah. Jehoshaphat used this opportunity to seek God to empower him instead of allowing fear to paralyze him. He knew with God, victory is sure with every battle, and in every situation he faced.

1 Chronicle 16:11 says, “Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!”

You see, to win, you must get the necessary assistance and support from the right source, and that’s where you need God. Because you don’t know the right place to go or how much time you have left before the battle begins. But with God’s help, you can find your way out of the storm and into victory. Therefore, I encourage you to seek God extraordinarily so that you can get the tremendous help you need in Jesus’ name. Amen! Proverbs 8:17 says, “I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.”

Prayer:
1. I refuse to be overwhelmed; I refuse to be discouraged. I have God; I have all in Jesus’ name. Amen!
2. May the Lord bless you and keep you in perfect peace in Christ Jesus.
