Wise Men Still Seek Him!

Wise Men Still Seek Him!

“…there came wise men from the East to Jerusalem, saying, “where is He that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” Matt. 2:1-2.

This is the day the Lord has made, and you should rejoice and be glad in it! My friend, I welcome you to a beautiful day! I trust that yesterday was indeed an extraordinary day and that today will be a great one. Remember, God will never leave or forsake you, no matter what. This is a glorious truth! Indeed, God is with you to bless, guide, and guard you. It is time you began to leverage on divine presence for victorious living. Awesome!

Today, I will like to ask you this question: To what extent are you willing to get more intimate with God? How much are you willing to sacrifice to seek God? This is an important question because unbelief in God will cause confusion and disappointment and lead to delay and hopelessness in life (Hebrews 3:7-19).

Hebrews 11:6 says, “And without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

According to Mathew chapter 2 verses 1 to 2, wise men from the East were eager to see and worship Jesus, the newborn King laid in the manger at Bethlehem. Therefore, they traveled from the East to Jerusalem (a journey of about 14,785 km), not minding the danger on the way and the harsh weather of the desert. Instead, they left all important matters to catch a glimpse of the Savior and present their gifts to Him. What a show of desire, hunger, and thirst to personally meet the Savior of all Mankind?

The truth is, God still rewards those who seek Him diligently, and He also seeks the true worshipers. When you seek God, you find every other thing that your heart longs for. Little wonder, Jesus said, seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all other things will be added unto you. You can seek God by prayer, regular study, and consistent meditation on His word (the bible). Matthew 7:8 says, “For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”

Prayer:
1. Lord, I thank you for the opportunity you have given me to come to your presence today; it is a privilege.
2. Lord, I strongly desire, hunger, and thirst to personally meet with you and know you MORE INTIMATELY in Jesus’ name. Amen.
