You will Recover it All!

You will Recover it All!

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.” Psalm 50:15

The promises of God’s Word have assured you that you can be healed from whatever addiction you might have and forgiven of whatever sin you might have committed. What’s even better is that you can recover everything you have lost during those times. So, are you ready and willing to take on the challenge of recovering the good things you’ve lost?

The Bible said the Amalekite’s armies captured David’s family, destroyed his home, and took everything he had when he was not home. This broke David deeply as he cried till he was drained. When faced with this situation, there are two things you should do. First, go to God for strength: Verse 6 of the text said that David strengthened himself in the Lord his God. He knew he could not solve the problem himself.

1 Samuel 30:8 says, “So, David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail to recover all.”

As David did, you too can acknowledge God in your faith. If you have the power to recover all by yourself, you would have already done that. Acknowledge that you are weak, and you have no power of your own. That is the first step to your victory. This is not the same thing as being hopeless rather. This is saying that “God, you can do this while I cannot.”

Receive direction from God and follow the instructions: David asked God what to do next instead of wallowing in self-pity. God told him what to do, and he followed through. It is very important to get God’s words on every crucial step you want to take, as this will help you take God by His words. David recovered all that he lost because God’s words had armed him. When you turn to God, He is ready to restore you fully. 1 Samuel 30:18 says, “So David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives.”

Prayer:
1. Lord, I need your restoration, restore to me all that I have lost.
2. Whatever good things the enemy have taken or stolen from you, I prayed in the mighty name of Jesus’, you will recover them without anything missing.
