Zurushiddai! Part Two

“This Jesus is the stone you rejected, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.” Acts 4:11

Jesus is the solid foundation we stand on. He is the unchanging one who never fails. So we can cling to Him for strength and hope in times of trouble. His love never fails, and He is always there for us. The world will tell you to run from the storms and seek money, power, and fame. But Jesus is the only one who can give you what you need to face life’s struggles. He loves you so much that He gave His life for you on a cross of shame, suffering, and sorrow.

In the fourth chapter of the book of Acts, we are introduced to a man named Jesus. He is described as “the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.” This scripture is significant because it speaks to the power and purpose of Jesus. Even though He was rejected by those who should have known better, He still fulfilled His destiny and became the cornerstone of our faith. As believers, we can take comfort in knowing that no matter what life throws our way, Jesus will always be there for us. He is our Rock and protector in times of trouble.

Acts 10:43 says, “All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.”

The name Zurishaddai means “the Almighty.” He is a mighty fortress for us in times of trouble. When we are weak, He gives us strength. When enemies surround us, He provides a safe refuge. Likewise, when we face death, He offers us eternal salvation. No matter what we go through in this life, we can always trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Rock of Refuge and Salvation. “The Almighty is my rock and strength.” (Psalm 18:2). When we come to Jesus, we receive His strength and can overcome any temptation or difficulty we face.

Jesus is our Rock in times of trouble and distress. He is the one who sustains us and provides us with hope. We can rely on Him to guide us through life’s challenges. So let us turn to Him for comfort and guidance and allow Him to be our Rock during these turbulent times. And remember to thank Him for His steadfast love and faithfulness. Let us also pray for those who are lost and need Him the most because Jesus Christ is our Rock of age. Amen. Psalm 95:1 says, “Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!”

Prayer:
Psalm 61:2; Oh Lord, from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint, lead me to Jesus the higher Rock than I. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
