Beautiful Feet!
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:14
When God gave us the gift of Jesus Christ, He had everyone in mind. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13. Salvation is free to all, but how will others believe when they have not even heard of Jesus. Christ’s redemption is for all.
“And how shall they hear without a preacher?” There are several ways to bring the knowledge of Jesus to unbelievers ranging from tracts sharing, public transit evangelism, one-on-one evangelism, etc. In addition, the love you show to your neighbor, the little help you render to that person in need, and the way you react to that violent person will go a long way in showing them God’s love for them.
Isaiah 52:7 says, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bring good tidings; that published peace; that bring good tidings of good, that published salvation.”
“And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?” Believing that Christ is the son of God and accepting Him is a crucial step. For unbelievers that you have shared the gospel with to consider the wonders of God, you have to share your testimonies with them too. You are a living testimony of God’s redemption and goodness, so you reinforce their faith by sharing those testimonies with them.
You have been saved so that you can show others the way to Jesus. Furthermore, you have tasted Christ and enjoyed the good tidings. The major commandment Christ gave to us is to preach the gospel to every nation and to win more souls for the expansion of the Kingdom of God. Do not hoard the good news; spread it. Matthew 28:19 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
Prayer:
1. Lord, let my lifestyle bring souls to your Kingdom
2. Oh Lord, you have made known your salvation to me through the power of your word, therefore help me to make it know to others in Jesus’ name.
