Breakthrough Prayer! 2
“The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:4
Breakthrough prayer is a powerful way to connect with God and ask Him to intervene in our lives. Through this type of prayer, we can ask Him to break through the barriers preventing us from achieving our goals and from living a life of purpose. But we must open ourselves up to His guidance and by asking Him to help us so that we can experience His power and His love in a deeper way. When praying for a breakthrough, the important thing to remember is to be specific. Ask God for what you need, just as Hannah opened up herself at Shiloh as she was desperately longing for a child.
Hannah’s prayer is an example of a breakthrough prayer for a child and a symbol of hope in the face of disappointment. The Bible records that Hannah prayed for a child year after year (1 Samuel 1), and it seems like her prayers would go unanswered. But Hannah never stopped praying, even though she faced ridicule and scorn from others. Hannah did not take prayer and the house of God (Shiloh) for granted. Instead, She continues to pray with faith, believing that she will find comfort and strength amid her troubles. Hannah’s prayer is a reminder that God is always willing to listen to our prayers, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. It is also a reminder that God can work miracles in our lives, even when we are unsure if we deserve them.
Ephesians 6:18 says, “Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.”
Brethren, are you looking for a breakthrough in your relationship, marital life, business, or career? I encourage you to engage in the prayer of breakthrough because it is the only prayer that can break the barrier that hinders you, just as Hannah did. Hannah’s prayer is a breakthrough prayer and fervent in faith because she understood the power of prayer. She poured out her soul to the Lord and expressed the depth of anguish because she needed a breakthrough. Yet, she never gave up on God until she experienced God’s intervention.
Breakthrough prayer breaks the barrier that hinders us. Therefore, I encourage you to engage in such prayer. Pour out your heart and soul to God and express your deepest desires in prayer so that you can that breakthrough. God is always willing to hear our prayers, and He often answers them in amazing ways. But we must pray with faith and confidence, knowing that God can do anything. Remember, this type of prayer must be specific and direct to your deepest desire. Hannah’s prayer is an excellent model for prayer. It is simple yet powerful. Luke 11:9 says, “And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
Prayer:
1. Thank you, Lord, for answering my prayer.
2. I break out of every impossibility and enter into my season of breakthrough testimonies in Jesus’ name. Amen.
3. Brethren, continue to pray for that desire of your heart, and I believe God will answer your prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.
