Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the divine lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17
God is the ultimate giver of life, and the life you have is the gift of God to you. You cannot compare His giving with anybody. From the moment He created us in His image (Gen. 1:27) until today, God continues to give good and perfect gifts to humanity. James 1:17 says: “ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” The gift of life is a blessing that we cannot take for granted. It’s a gift that God gives us. Harold B. Lee said, “Life is God’s gift to man. What we do with it is our gift to God.” Therefore, the gift of life is something that we should be thankful for and celebrate the giver of life. In another word, give God quality praise and worship, then embrace yourself that the gift of life is yours.
I know many people do not care about the gift they received. Some people forgot the giver who gave them the gift. They forgot that the giver is greater than the gift. They take every moment for granted and begin to question God “why did you give me this kind of life when I was born? Alternatively, questioning his gift of life he has given you. Do not become clay that argues with the potter just as Isaiah 45:9 says, “Does a clay pot dare argue with its maker, a pot that is like all the others? Does the clay ask the potter what he is doing? Does the pot complain that its maker has no skill?”

- Thank God for giving you the gift of life.
- It is a blessing to be able to live in such an abundance of life through Christ Jesus.
- Lord Jesus, I am thankful for your gifts.
- I have been blessed by God’s love and mercy in my life.
- I am grateful for your grace and mercy towards me when I was lost in this world.
May you be blessed by God’s grace and mercy.
