“Then the LORD came and stood there, calling as before, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant is listening.” 1 Samuel 3:10
Beloved, are you one of those who see prayer as just talking to God out of a pure heart, who sees prayer as pouring out your mind to God without no response. If you are that type, take your time through this devotional, because confidential information is nonpublic information that can only be accessed with a special privilege.
Prayer is a spiritual key that gives you access to God’s secret room. Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
Taking a look at our crucial text about Samuel, whom the whole of Israel still sees as just a servant boy, but God saw him as a boy, he can reveal confidential information about his master to him despite the scarcity of the word of God in those days. Even these days, sensitive information is not given to everyone but to those who desire it in the place of prayer (1 Corinthians 2:9-10).
Brethren, you need the information to get knowledge, and knowledge will get you revelation. Sticking to that revelation gives you transformation. It all started with information; you cannot jump the process. The information Samuel got made him prepared to be a prophet in Israel. The information Daniel received made him the prime minister of Babylon. The information that was revealed to Paul made him the chief of apostles. What information do you need to hear from God?
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
Prayer:
1. Father, thank you for unhindered access to your presence
2. Lord. As I am deciding fellowship with you today, give me listening ears and open-heart to be attentive to your will in Jesus’ name. In Jesus’ name.
