Do You Know His Worth! 2

“Jesus canceled the debt ascribed to us in the decrees that stood against us. He took it away, nailing it to the cross!” Colossians 2:14

We all know that the challenges of life can be overwhelming, but God’s grace through Christ Jesus is so great that we become an overcomer of them. The commitment of time, the sacrifice and price Jesus paid to save us was enough to see the credibility of worthiness in him. Jesus gave up everything for our salvation and our redemption, yet many of us are still struggling to know his worth.

Many Christians nowadays questioning themselves that ‘what is good about Jesus anyway, and why should I care? Even worse, they question their worth. Because they have been thought about Jesus since their childhood, and know his story, so they have the wrong perception about him. The familiarity and comfort with Jesus have made them believe that had enough of him already.

Now, let me ask you this: how worthy is Jesus to you and your family? Or have you familiar yourself so much with Jesus that you don’t even recognize him as your Lord and savior? Remember the lack of signs and wonders in Nazareth was also the related spirit of familiarly about Jesus that we see today? Mark 6:5–6.

Therefore, whatever the worth of Jesus, you know in the past cannot be compared if you know him more now. Because the deeper you know Jesus, the greater he becomes in your life. The more you know, Jesus, the more you would like to know him, because he will connect you to something bigger and better than what you know right now. Above all, he will connect you with God’s presence. John 3:35 says, “The Father loves the Son and has placed all things in His hands.”

1. Thank you for what you did on the cross to save me from my sin.
2. Lord, give me the grace to know you more and to love you more in Jesus’ name.
