DO YOU STILL REMEMBER! 4
When David remembered the goodness of God, he composed a song in psalm 103 saying,
Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles.
My heart leaps for joy and sings Hallelujah when I remember the promises and goodness of God. When I remember his grace and mercy, I rejoice at his faithfulness and steadfast love. I am filled with joy and delight when he makes me feel safe and assured me that if he is for me, no one can be against me.
All the promises or his goodness are perfect examples of how we can use our faith to help us known who we are in Christ. It is important to remember that Jesus is our redeemer, joy, peace, and abundant life. Our God is a covenant-keeping God
This song says,
When I Remember His Promises, I Shout Hallelujah!
When I remember his promises,
I shout, hallelujah! (Repeat X4)
I shout, hallelujah!
I shout, hallelujah!
When I remember his promises,
I shout, hallelujah! (Anonymous)
What about you, do you still remember? If So, Give God the praise. If not, remember the air you breathe, remember that someone somewhere slept last night and couldn’t wake up today. Therefore, be grateful for all the things he has done for you and your family. It is a beautiful thing to know that God loves you and wants to give you abundant life. “Remember the wonders He has done, His marvels, and the judgments He has pronounced.” 1 Chronicles 16:12.
Prayer:
Remember the goodness of God and sing.
