According to songwriters: Robert Jr. McFerrin that composed the song ‘Do not Worry, Be Happy’ said that “In every life, we have some trouble, but when you worry you make it double…” Many people have double their challenges through worry and anxiety. Some people over think, about what to eat, drink, build houses, or drive a new car and cause themselves with migraine or depression; some people worry about people that offend them and refused to forgive. Therefore, they continue to drink the toxic dose of Unforgiveness and resentment that the torturers left behind to swallow. It has become one of the primary weapons the enemy uses to take advantage of our health, lives and even your mind. 2Corinthians 2:11 says “Lest Satan should take advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his scheme…”
As long as you are alive, people will always offend you; will always talk about you; will dare you-you sometimes, and even you will offend yourself. All depends on how mature you are about life issues. Some people count it all joy either it looks good or bad because they believe that all things work together for good to them that believe in God. You can decide to be happy by appreciating God’s goodness, loving and praising the handiwork of the Creator, and giving thanks redemption of life through Christ Jesus. Alternatively, you can choose to worry more and then double the problem.
In today’s verse, in Isaiah 41:10, God said, “do not worry, because I am with you. Do not be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you; I will support you with my right hand that saves you.” God wants you to live a life of joy; that is why he sent his only begotten son, that whosoever believe in him will have eternal life. However, when the son came, he gave us the abundant life that is full of joy and happiness. Jesus gave us the perfect peace of mind. He shields us with loving kindness. Therefore, our response, suppose to be “what then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Roman 8:31
