Enter His Gate With Gratitude!
“With what shall I come before the LORD and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?” Micah 6:6
There is nothing you can give God that worth the value of thanksgiving or praise. You can kill goats and sheep in your home, but God will not eat them. You can donate things to the house of God to move the kingdom forward, yet your heart must be filled with gratitude for the Lord’s presence.
How grateful and joyful are you with the daily blessing is what moves God. Your whole life must be an expression of grace in Christ that will bring about the good deed of God. Count what you have as blessings and believe Him that he works all things together for your good purpose.
Thanksgiving is a foundation for all other aspects of life, including our personal and spiritual lives. We must be thankful for the blessings first before we can begin to appreciate the purpose of life. It’s not about how much money we have or how many cars we drive. It’s about how much we appreciate the gifts of life before we can begin to enjoy them.
I encourage you in this season that “.., in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your households shall eat and rejoice in all you do, because the LORD your God has blessed you.” Deuteronomy 12:7.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your blessing on me
