Fate Awaiting, Don’t Ignore It!

“And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.” 1 John 2:17

Can you think of living a minute, a day, or years without the faithfulness, mercy, and favor of God? The enemy who has been bragging and wanting to destroy life will eventually find their way into people’s lives without difficulties. I pray that the devil will not take advantage of us in Jesus’ name. However, we must also play our role not to be easily tempted by our desires contrary to God’s will but to be obedient and faithful.

We must do away with any ungodly act, immoral practices, sinful thought, and all sorts of things contradicting God’s will. Do not engage in what will make God’s grace and mercy leave your life. Romans 6:1-2 says, “Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase? Certainly not!” From the days of Eden till now, God has been showing incomparable grace. He remains faithful to us from Generation to Generation.

Titus 2:11-13 says, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.”

However, irrespective of God’s goodness unto humankind, humans haven’t stopped going against His will. The present generations are even far worse than the generations which had previously lived. It’s just becoming worse the more we go in life. The people of Israel got God angry to the extent that He put them into the hands of their enemy because they didn’t reference Him. They left the God who brought them out of Egypt to serve idols, and this made God send them out of their land into a land they do not know and without favor (vs.13).

We cannot afford our Generation to lack the presence of God because we know its implication in the lives of people in time past. Therefore, live a godly and acceptable life, seek God daily, and pray that His grace shouldn’t leave your life. “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:8.

Prayer:
1. I break free from a hard life and generational curse in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, help me live a loving and holy life. Please give me the grace to serve you untiring.
