FLEE, THEN, FOLLOW! 2

God’s Word is our guide to living a life of holiness. As a believer in Christ, we are to be in the world but not of the world. This means our perspective and our actions are different from the way of the world. 1 John 4:5 says, “They are of the world. That is why they speak from the world’s perspective, and the world listens to them.”

“But as for you, as a person dedicated to God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.” 1 Timothy 6:11.

Flee these things! Flee away from all evil of lust, money, greed, envy, and unforgiveness. Separate yourself from every ungodly word or prophesy. Flee from the appearance of all evil and pursue the righteousness of God. If you do flee from sin and follow Jesus, then your life will be filled with joy, peace, and prosperity. “Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity, and honor.” Proverbs 21:21

All lies lead to another lie that leads to more lies. We must not let them lead us astray from the promises of God. Flee from the things that make you miserable. Hold on to Jesus and his word. He is the only one who can save you from sins and bring you salvation. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! “Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have, for God has said, “I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU, NEITHER WILL I FORSAKE YOU,” Hebrews 13:5.

Prayer:
1. Oh! Lord, I thank you for saving me from sin and death by giving me a new life in Christ Jesus.
2. In the name of Jesus by the mercies of God, my destiny is out of the horrible pit of the enemy that makes me miserable and hopeless.
3. Oh! Lord, let the yoke of promise and fail, last-minute disappointment, failure at the edge of miracles be broken in my life, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
