For His Glory
And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be made manifest in him. John 9: 2-3.
It is evident that God exists and daily we are being pressed on all sides to be in disbelief of this truth. So many evidence of His being and of Him being faithful to His promises abound. Yet the enemy of man is always attacking this assurance in man, for he knows that through this sound belief, man shall live victoriously on the earth.
One of the things that the devil throws at us to convince us that God isn’t loving and caring as we thought is sicknesses and diseases. Of a truth, these abound around us, but we are not moved by their abundance around us, but the rather, we are moved by what the word of God says and what God has demonstrated that He can do and will keep doing. Their abundance should even get us to know that God’s way is past finding out, and hence, it is best to stick with Him so that we can be persuaded of a life of victory always.
We should never lose sight of God’s provision through Christ for that’s what the devil wants. We should keep our gaze on Him who can do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ever think or ask according to the power of life at work in us. No matter the abundance of sickness and diseases passing through the air around us, we should remember that thousands shall fall by the right side and tens of thousands by our other side, but it cannot get to us for our life is hidden in Christ Jesus. Dearly beloved, worry not for your life that is hidden in Christ. Shalom.
