In our daily life, we must continue to give thanks to God, and rejoice always. Do you know that happiness might not make you grateful, but gratefulness can make you experience happiness. Cicero said, “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others.” According David in Psalm 103:2 he said ” Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits” Means count your blessings and see what God has done, what he is doing right now and what he is yet to do.
A boy and his Dentist Analogy.
DENTIST – How many bad teeth do you have?
BOY – 2 (the boy replied by raising his two fingers)
DENTIST – How many good teeth do you have?
BOY – Uhmmm, I don’t know. ..
The gateway to grace is gratitude. To understand your worth, you must appreciate what you have left in you. The more you appreciate yourself and your God, the more worthy you are and the bigger your God become over your problem. Gratitude is the key to happiness, and happiness is the key to success. Therefore, I encourage, as you journey towards the end of the month, don’t let the negative weight you down, instead, look at the positive things around you, and surely it will outweigh any bad that has come your way. It’s okay to be emotional, angry, or disappointed for a moment. However, don’t let those feelings hold you back from experiencing God’s love and give him praise about what he has done. Psalm 77:11 says, “I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old.”
It’s not easy to give praise when some things go wrong in our lives, but yet, God wants us to be thankful for everything that happened in my life. The bible said, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Refuse and reject any depression or sorrow in your heart because it will make you weak and miserable.
