Give God the Excellent Praise!
“Hallelujah! Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.” Psalm 106:1
The Lord is good to all; He has compassion for all His children. You can never repay God for the grace and mercy He has shown you. He has given you the wisdom to do exceedingly and abundantly above the understanding of the world, yet, you don’t have to be overwhelmed with it. Therefore, Make a joyful noise to the Lord, and serve Him with gladness. Every day you wake up, I encourage you to come into his presence singing to know Him more and more. Psalm 100:4-5 says, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”
Whoever understands and appreciates the loving-kindness of the Lord is wise because it shows that you value all the good things in life. When you are filled with appreciation, your heart will remember the goodness of God in every situation. Therefore, let your mind be filled with thankfulness for the Lord. We can teach our children to be grateful, but adults face the same challenge as well. We face the challenges of appreciating the small things because we only focus on the big things. However, we forget that the process of the big things starts with the small important things.
Zechariah 4:10 says, “For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the LORD, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.”
Brethren, if you have been feeling reluctant to give God praise over the smallest things, then you are despising the day of small things in God’s presence. Therefore, I will encourage you to give God praise and bow before him with the heart of gratitude. Think of the goodness of God in your life and family, and sing responsively with praise and thanksgiving to the LORD: For He is good; for His loving kindness upon you endures forever. You might find yourself in a bad situation, but I am confident that someone close to you wants what you have got.
Do not let the fact that you are struggling exhaust you from giving thanks to God. There is a reason for you to thank him because he is good, and his loving-kindness endures forever. Therefore, thank God for the good things he has done for you. Listen to your favorite gospel songs and praise God. Remember, His love through Christ Jesus is greater than any gift of life. Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.” May the Lord give you the reason to praise him. Let it be known that God loves you more than anything else. 1 Chronicle 16:34 says, “Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving-kindness, endures forever.”
Prayer:
Give thanks to God for all he has done for you.
