Go Through the Door
“I am the door; if anyone enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” John 10:9-10
Elizabeth Taylor said, “I feel very adventurous. There are so many doors to be opened, and I’m not afraid to look behind them.” The breaking of a new day is like a door that opens automatically. God ordained that each new day opens with GLADNESS and any aberration to this seems to be impossible. Many have awoken from their sleep daily to meet challenging situations that they never dreamt of seeing, and some do wake up to enjoy life for a moment and the rest of the day goes with sadness and boredoms. I prayed it would not be your portion in Jesus name.
There is a different door that leads to different places; some point to the right place while some lead to the wrong place. However, the door God has ordained it for you and your family this year, that door is set to open blessings and mercies for you daily. It is the heritage of those born of God and ordained unto life.
Joel Osteen said, “I believe if you keep your faith, you keep your trust, you keep the right attitude, if you’re grateful, you’ll see God open up new doors.” However, God is speaking to us that we need to know which door to take in every day of our life when we wake up. There are many doors to take; some take the door of food, some take the work door; what is being said is that what takes us out of bed daily, through what door do you enter every new day.
Faith in God and Hard work open doors and help you use your talents; Food doors lead to the kitchen or cafeteria.
The door is a threshold to something or somewhere. It is of great importance as sons and daughters of God to enter each new day through Jesus, through prayers, through study. Going through this door, Jesus is saying in the passage above that through this door; we shall go out and find pasture, we shall go out and find the adequate meal we need, we shall go out and do exploits for his presence shall go with us.
The scripture spoke in the book of proverbs that in all our ways, we should acknowledge God, and he shall direct thy paths. Means commit your ideas as you go through the door called Jesus daily, and he will usher your ways in by the host of heaven. Never miss this door again as you journey through life. Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
Prayer:
1. Thank God for the blood of Jesus that takes away your sin.
2. I treasure my devotional life, oh Lord; grace to keep the meeting I receive.
3. Decree that EVIL DOORS will not open for you and your loved ones and will burn out from your life in Jesus name.
4. God of mercy, show me MERCY that is beyond explanation from this moment forward, let every evil open by the enemies be close in Jesus name.
