God is Our God: Hold on!

“Even to your old age, I will be the same, and I will bear you up when you turn gray. I have made you, and I will carry you; I will sustain you and deliver you.” Isaiah 46:4

In society, things are often not what they seem. We have embraced ‘reality’ television programming that is far from reality and God’s agenda. We allow ourselves to be deceived for the sake of entertainment as a result of hidden agendas, greedy motives, and manipulative tactics that make it hard to trust others for the rest of life.

I am thankful we serve a God who is completely trustworthy. He never changes. He is more than a stone or wooden idol. Not only that, but he is bigger than a worshiped ideal. He is personal, and we can talk to Him. He is real; we can see Him working in our lives and the lives of others. Likewise, he is relevant because the principles He established long ago still apply to our lives today.

Revelation 1:8 declare, “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Isaiah reminded the Israelites that God would always be with them. We need a similar reminder. When God speaks, we can trust that He means what He says. He doesn’t speak to impress anyone and not to deceive. He is not motivated by worldly pursuits or devious tactics. God has no hidden agenda, greedy motive, or manipulative purpose.

God care because He loves us. He is a faithful God, and that is why He cannot let you go down. He would keep watching over you. Wrinkles and gray hair will not drag Him away from His dear children! You can count and rely on God because He is faithful at the very core of His nature. Psalm 48:14 says, “For this God is our God forever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.”

1. Father, I am so grateful that I can always count on You.
