Gratitude is a Life Changer! 2
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.” Psalm 107:1
Gratitude described who you are, what you believe in, and how much you value God and others. It is a powerful tool that can be used to change our lives. When we use gratitude in any relationship, it can make all the difference in our attitude. It can bring us closer together, strengthen relationships with family members and friends, increase self-esteem and improve our ability to deal with difficult situations. Gratitude is a powerful tool that can be used in all kinds of relationships.
What is your attitude towards life? Because attitude without gratitude can make someone vulnerable without even realizing it. Therefore, whatever your attitude or disposition towards life is, it is important to have gratitude for everything that happens in your life. If you are a person who is grateful for everything that happens to you, then it is likely that you have a grateful attitude towards life.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, “Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
The Psalmist, a man with the understanding of God’s faithfulness, integrity, and track record of being a very present help in troubles, then offers to bless the Lord at all times. What an amazing testimony and commitment. David saw rejection from childhood, faced death while growing up, and battle all around as a king. Yet, he made this commitment to be grateful. Make this a commitment to give thanks in everything. Surely the Lord will be good for you.
A lifestyle and attitude of gratitude should be our life disposition. A writer once wrote, “You don’t thank God only for what he has done, but you thank Him for the greater things He is going to do for you shortly.” Do you believe in this? I do. It’s not about me or my circumstances but rather how we respond to them. Be grateful. Psalm 145:1 says, “I will exalt You, my God and King; I will bless Your name forever and ever.”
Prayer:
1. Thank you, Jesus, for all that you have done for me.
2. Lord, I am grateful. I receive grace for gratitude in everything and at all times.
3. Acts 24:3; Oh Lord, in every way and everywhere I accept everything you have done with all gratitude in Jesus’ name. Amen
