Heart of Worship! 2

“Seek the LORD while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.” Isaiah 55:6

When we blindly accept or adopt doctrine worship other presents to us without knowing what the Bible teaches about God, we are like sheep who follow a Shepherd without direction. We become automatons followers who don’t know where they belong. We cease to grow spiritually because we have become so accustomed to following the same dogmas that we no longer see the need to question them.

The only way to get out of this rut is by seeking the Holy Spirit. Remember, God is not in a little box or a big house. He is ever-present and all around us. He is everywhere and nowhere at once. He knows everything about you, your family, friends, and even your enemies. He knows what you need, and his love for you is beyond measure. He will never judge you based on what other people think of you or how they feel about you. He will always be there for you, no matter what.

Deuteronomy 7:9 says, “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.”

The Bible says that God loves you, unconditionally. That indeed is why He cannot limit the amount of time you spend with Him or in His presence in a certain place or building. He doesn’t care if you are alone or with someone else. All He wants is your heart of worship for Him. When we’re in this state of mind, our hearts are filled with joy and peace because we are in God’s presence. It’s like being in heaven and seeing the light of God shine through every cell of your body.

The Divine Nature of God is so beautiful and powerful. Human beings are limited base on their physical realm, but God is not limited by anything in the spiritual realm. He is limitless and infinite in love, compassion, mercy, and grace. It’s lovely to be in spirit because you will continuously feel satisfied and know that God is there for you. John 4:23 says, “But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him.”

Prayer:
1. Thank you, Jesus, for loving me for whom I am and helping me live my life according to your word.
2. I break every limitation of the physical realm that has created an obstacle to my growth and development.
3. Nahum 1:13: Oh Lord, break off every yoke of oppressor from my neck and tear away shackles of bondage in Jesus’ name. Amen
