It’s just what it is- Grace!2

“On the contrary, we believe it is through the grace of the Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.” Acts 15:11

You enter this day, not because you are cute or handsome or good-looking, but because of the grace of God. When I was a kid, my grandma would say to me: “don’t worry about your appearance, don’t worry about how much money you have, nor worry about the circumstances you may found yourself but worry if the grace of God is not sufficient for you.”

Through her statement, I realized that grace is not something that can be bought, but rather something that comes from God. The redeeming activities in our lives today are not by work or money or anything else but by grace. It’s just what it is- grace! Grace is the saving power that was mediated through Christ’s death on the cross and the resurrection event. That is why Christ becomes the savior of all who has faith in Him and love for God.

Life without grace is like living in a desert without a source of water where nothing thrives. It is like living without refreshment and remained thirsty until the time we lose strength to live. Because water brings hopes and dreams of living things alive, that will make everyone feels good about themselves.

Likewise, Christ in you is the grace that brings hope and dreams back into the life that is not only temporary but also permanent. When you received Christ, you receive the ability to see and understand the abundant beauty of life. Because through Jesus, believers are well maintained on earth and strengthening till eternity. Ephesians 2:5 says, “God made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!”

Prayer:
1. Father, I thank you for your mercy and your love for me.
2. I hold on to your salvation through faith and trust.
3. My God, release your sufficient grace over my life so that I may live a prosperous life in Jesus’ name.
