Jesus Turns It Around!

Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43

When Jesus was crucified, the thief on the right hand of the Cross believed that Jesus could turn it all around. He asked Jesus to remember him when He came into His kingdom. Jesus responded by telling him that he would be with Him in paradise that day. This story reminds us that no matter what mess we find ourselves in, if we believe in Jesus, He can turn it all around for us. He offers hope and healing in a world of hurt. We find that life is worth living again as we journey with Him.

What you believe determines your life’s worth. If you believe in God, you are not limited by anybody because God is the one who created all things and everything that exists. We all sinned; we all fall short of God’s excellent standard. We deserve some punishment. Instead, God, the Father, sent His only Son into the world, that whosoever believes Him (Christ) will be redeemed, saved, and enjoy an abundant life. Christ came for salvation, and he did live the sinless life because of you and me; he shows us how to believe and serve a living God.

John 3:15 says, “whoever believes in Jesus should not perish, but have eternal life.”

We deserve to die for our crimes, but Jesus died for our sins, taking upon himself the penalty that we deserve for our sins. We are not worthy of eternal life, but we have been made perfect by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ to enjoy abundant and eternal life. Therefore, believing in Christ, Jesus will make you free from sin and death. It will also make you free from the evil desires of your heart.

If believing in Jesus Christ changed the status of a thief on the right hand in the time of crucifixion from hellfire to life, he will do the same thing for you. No matter what you are going through, He will change it for your good. But remember, the only way out of hellfire is through repentance and faith in Christ Jesus Christ. I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. What do you think? If you believe in Jesus, I am sure He will turn everything around for your good. Amen. John 1:12 says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

1. Thank God for the privileged of the day.
2. Oh Lord, awaken my hunger to believe in the Word of God, fill my temple again till I want no more.
3. I cut off every force pulling me back from growing spiritually in Jesus’ name.
