Jesus who was Crucified! 2
“God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses.” Acts 2:32
The persecution, the death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ reveal the momentous truth about the nature of our relationship with God. It reveals the true nature of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and true prophet (Matthew 20:19) and the redeemer of the world. It reveals heaven and hell.
The crucifixion and the resurrection reveal that heaven is real and has no tomb; therefore, it is not a place where the dead are buried. Heaven is the way of life for all eternity where no tears, pain, nor sorrow exist. Revelation 21:4 reveals that “… death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” In other words, there is life after death because God’s love for us is eternal and everlasting.
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
As the resurrection reveals the truth about heaven, it also indicates that hell is real. Remember, the purpose Jesus came to earth was to save sinners from their sins because He knew that there is no silent grave in hell for those condemned to eternal damnation. Therefore, it is time to let go of penitence sin and start a new life with Christ.
This is a great step towards salvation. We can do this by following Jesus’ example and doing what he did: loving God and loving others. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to save humanity from sin so that everyone could live a good life and enjoy eternity with God in heaven. Behold Jesus is alive forevermore. John 14:2 says, “In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?”
Prayer:
Oh Lord, help me to be saved and to live a good life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
