Lean on God’s Directions.
“And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.” Isaiah 48:21
God is faithful to give direction in all things, and it is up to you to follow Him. God assured us in Psalm 32:8-9 says, “I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will give you counsel and watch over you. So that you will not be like the horse or mule, which have no understanding; they must be controlled with bit and bridle to make them come to you.” When we are in a situation where we don’t know what to do, when our hearts are broken or when we feel lost, God’s guidance is there to guide us.
It is essential and worthwhile that any believer should desire and lean on God’s leading. When you have the divine leading of God, it will save your life from disappointment and stress. However, you have to know that God’s way is not your way. Swindoll Charles R says, “When the Lord makes it clear you’re to follow Him in this new direction, focus fully on Him and refuse to be distracted by comparisons with others.”
Remember that God led the Israelite into the wilderness, and throughout their journey, they never lacked anything they desire. I know it sounds strange if someone said God leads them into the desert where there is no green plant which bears fruit for food, no water, no security of lives and properties, no shelter, no social amenities, etc. to go there and live to fulfill the purpose.
The Israelite did, and yet they did not lack any good thing, even the evil that befell them was as a result of their rebellion against God. I pray that evil will not take over your heart in Jesus name.
No environment is terrible for us to thrive and fulfill the purpose, in as much as God leads us. No business is not profitable in as much as God guides us into it. The determination of our success is God, not the environment, the academic qualification, age, or family background. When God leads us into any place, He makes the necessary provisions available for us.
God doesn’t suffer men, He has given us different promises concerning our lives, and He has also given us His word, only for us to obey and follow what His word says, we will flourish. Lean not upon your own understanding instead ask God, and He will lead you. “Seek God’s will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Proverbs 3:6
Prayer:
1. Thank God for the blessings of life. It is a blessing to be alive today and see the goodness of God.
2. Father, I appreciate you for your directions over my life, keep directing my steps in all areas of my life in Jesus name.
3. I decree in the mighty name of Jesus, I close every evil way of life in me that disorganize the plan of God and leads to the kingdom of hell now.
4. Holy Ghost, close every evil door ahead of my life and family.
