Life-hack: Increase Your FQ- Faith Quotient!
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
So what is your Faith Quotient (FQ)? In today’s world, knowing where to put our trust and how much faith we should have can be hard. To measure your FQ, ask yourself if you are willing to take risks without knowing exactly what will happen. Are you able to put faith in something bigger than yourself, such as God? Are you willing to make decisions based on divine dreams, God’s word, and prophecy rather than relying solely on logic or facts? Your FQ is a number that measures how dedicated you are to your beliefs and how strong your trust is in unseen forces.
Faith is essential in helping us find meaning in life and move forward despite adversity or difficulty. When we align ourselves with a belief system that resonates with who we are, it provides a sense of comfort during times of uncertainty or distress. Through faith comes hope; hope gives us strength to overcome obstacles and persevere through difficult times. This same sense of hope can also help us stay focused on our goals even when things seem impossible.
Hebrews 11:6 says, “And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”
Living by faith looks at life not only in the present but also in the future. The concept of living by faith is rooted in Hebrews 11:1. Living by faith involves trusting that even when we cannot see or understand what lies ahead, God has a plan and will provide us with hope and security. However, to determine our reliance on our faith, it can be helpful to ask ourselves, What Is Our Faith Quotient (FQ)? FQ evaluates how much we trust God to lead us through good and bad times. Are we relying on our strength or leaning into His grace?
A FQ measures our trust and willingness to believe even when there is no concrete proof or evidence that something will happen. It is a personal assessment tool that can help us take stock of where we are on our spiritual journey and what steps need to be taken to strengthen our faith. It’s also important to note that while having a high FQ doesn’t guarantee success or happiness, it does give us the courage to continue believing even when things seem bleak or uncertain. Amen. Ephesians 6:16 says, “In all circumstances, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.”Amen.
Prayer:
I pray, Oh Lord, help me. As I traverse the winding path of life, I turn to you for guidance and assistance. Times may be trying, and my faith may be tested; nevertheless, my trust in you remains sure. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
