Limited Time! 2
“I know that there is nothing better for anyone than to rejoice and do good while they live.” Ecclesiastes 3:12
Limited time means no time to waste on things that are not important. Life is precious, and if you don’t spend it wisely, then it may become wasted. Nevertheless, you can determine to enjoy the grace of God within you and use it to make your life more meaningful. I pray that the minimal time you have on earth will not be wasted by people who don’t care about God’s purpose in your life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
There is much demand for our time in this world, such as work, family, and friends. Time keeps ticking away every nanosecond that we cannot control or change. No matter how much we try to control it, time is always kept moving forward. So, what should we do? How can we live with the fact that time is finite, and if it doesn’t stop, then why waste it?
Today verse reminded us that we have a limited time in this life but need to spend it wisely to make sure that we get the best out of it. The verse encourages us to be effectively and efficiently use our time to be effective and productive. Ecclesiastes says take time to rejoice in your achievements, in small or big things, and enjoy them. If we don’t take time to relax and enjoy ourselves, then what is the benefit of toiling? Therefore, take time out from your busy schedule to enjoy yourself and smile.
You will never regret it when you are doing something that makes you happy, primarily when you fulfilled your God-given purpose in making an impact. Living a life full of joy and happiness is not easy, but it can be done when we rejoice in what God has done for us and see the impact we made on other people’s lives. Ecclesiastes 2:24 says, “Nothing is better for humans than to eat and drink and enjoy his work. I have also seen that this is from the hand of God.”
Prayer:
1. I am thankful for all the blessings you have given me that I may live my life with greater joy and enjoyment.
2. Oh Lord, I pray that you help me to live my life with a joyful heart.
3. Every day is a day of thy Lord’s glory, and I will rejoice and be glad in it in Jesus’ name.
