In the vast tapestry of existence, we have been bestowed with a remarkable gift – the power to shape our destiny. Much like architects, we possess the ability to design and construct the lives we desire through every decision we make. Each choice acts as a building block, adding depth and dimension to our unique life blueprint. Whether consciously or unconsciously, we are constantly engaged in the act of building our future.

I remember a story in the tranquil town of Meadowbrook, nestled amidst rolling hills and lush meadows, and there lived a remarkable architect named Edward. His life was akin to an intricate symphony as he believed in living is building. Every decision he made was like laying down a foundation for his future. With each blueprint crafted meticulously, Edward knew that shaping his destiny meant seeing opportunities where others saw obstacles. Like an artist with a brushstroke, he understood that every choice left an indelible mark on the canvas of life, creating a masterpiece uniquely his own.

Matthew 7:24 says, “Therefore, whoever heareth these saying of mine, and doeth it, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon the rock.”

However, it’s important to remember that building a life that reflects our true selves requires patience and perseverance. Every action or thought holds significance in this grand blueprint of life. From small daily choices like what to eat for breakfast or how to respond to an email to monumental decisions such as career paths or life partners, each step contributes to constructing our narratives. Just as architects consider every detail before finalizing blueprints, so must we carefully contemplate the consequences of our actions before proceeding. Amen. Proverbs 2:6 says, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Amen.
